Happy 16th Birthday, Jamis!

Happy, happy birthday to Jamis, who turns “sweet sixteen” today! For those of you outside of the U.S., this is a big birthday, as 16 is the legal driving age in most states! Here’s hoping Jamis is having an awesome birthday, full of lots of great things and surrounded by loved ones! <3

I posted a birthday collage of photos of Jamis at various ages on the Team DeKay instagram account this morning and was thrilled to get comments from both Jamis and Tim!

Then the lovely Elisa took it a step further and reposted my collage to her own account!

Happy Birthday, Jamis! And many thanks to the entire DeKay family for their continued support of the site. We love and appreciate all of you!

The Bizarro Jerry is one of Paste’s 10 Best Seinfeld Episodes

Chris Morgan of Paste Magazine has ranked one of Tim’s Seinfeld episodes, “The Bizarro Jerry,” third on his list of the show’s ten best episodes!

3. The Bizarro Jerry

Bizarro Jerry

This episode is silly in many ways. After all, Elaine finds herself in a bizarro world with its own Jerry, George, Kramer and Newman. Kramer starts working a job for no reason. Jerry dates Man Hands. George finds himself going to secret model parties. Yet, it all works. Kramer’s storyline is hilarious. The bizarro thing is out there, yes, but if you are willing to accept it, it’s hilarious and delightfully weird. The show had earned this chance through years of shrewd character development, and they made the most of the opportunity.

(Thanks to Kevin McClave for the heads-up!)

Gallery Update and Birthday Reminder

We still haven’t seen any photos of Tim from this year’s Every Child Matters 5k yet, but I was finally able to get HQ versions of most of the photos from last year! I’ve uploaded them to the gallery, as well as adding a few new shots. (There are still a few LQ photos; HQ versions of those weren’t available, but since the photos were different, I kept them in the album.) Among the new photos are two group shots for you to play “Where’s Tim.” 😉 Click on the image below to go to the gallery!

Also, just a reminder that we’re still taking birthday messages for Tim! Email them to birthday@teamdekay.org by tomorrow, and we’ll post them here on his birthday, as well as emailing him! You can send anything – message/poem, photo or fanart, video, etc. Thanks so much to all of those who have already submitted birthday greetings! 😀

One Year Launch-iversary!

Today is the one year anniversary of the launch of Team DeKay and teamdekay.org! (We posted a few things earlier, but June 1 was when the site officially went live and was made public!)

We’ve come a long way in our first year – and our gallery is still/always a work in progress – but we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. We’ve tried to keep everyone up-to-date on what’s happening in Tim’s career and life, and we’ve gotten the support of Tim and his family.

We’d like to send out a big thank you to Tim, his mom, and the rest of the DeKay family for all of their support. And thanks to all of you as well! We truly appreciate all of the comments here on the site, as well as the retweets, “likes” and follows, Facebook shares, etc. We’re looking forward to many years to come!

Team DeKay First Anniversary

Also, don’t forget to email your birthday wishes for Tim to birthday@teamdekay.org by June 11 so we can post them for/send them to Tim for his birthday on June 12! <3
