Just in time for the 12th anniversary of Team DeKay’s launch (yesterday), TheaterWorks Hartford has announced that Tim has been nominated for a Connecticut Critics Circle Award! The nomination is for Outstanding Actor in a Play for his role as Paul in “The Counter,” which ran at TWHartford from February 12-March 22, 2026. What a well-deserved honor – congratulations, Tim!
In addition to Tim’s nomination, “The Counter” received three additional nominations: Outstanding Actress in a Play for Justis Bolding, Outstanding Director of a Play for Rob Ruggiero, and Outstanding Set Design for Tijana Bjelajac. Congratulations to all four of the nominees from “The Counter” and to the six nominees from other TWHartford productions – best of luck to all of you!
The awards ceremony will take place on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Hartford Stage from 7:30-9 PM. If you’re in the area, it’s free and open to the public!
