Fever Dreams Interview

Theaterworks Hartford has posted a short interview with the cast and playwright of Fever Dreams! Check it out below (or click the link in the previous sentence) – thanks so much to KG for the heads up! 👍

The play runs from October 3 to November 3, 2024, at Theaterworks Hartford in Hartford, CT. As you can see in the video, it stars Tim, Doug Savant (a longtime friend of Tim’s), and Lana Young. It was written by Jeffrey Lieber and is directed by Rob Ruggiero. Click the link above for more info and tickets.

We’ll be travelling to see it at some point and will have a full report – and hopefully lots of photos! If any of you see it, feel free to let us know what you think (and submit photos and/or a write-up if you want us to post it)!

TW Hartford’s site gives us this description of Fever Dreams: “A steamy, decades-long affair. A remote cabin. An unexpected visitor. This is only the beginning. Full of surprising twists, dark secrets, and one very stubborn, broken cabinet.”

We hope to have more info for you closer to the premiere date – and hopefully even some firsthand accounts! 😉 Best of luck to Tim, Lana, Doug, and all involved!

White Collar Revival Confirmed

Thanks to Variety, we finally have confirmation of what many of us have suspected for awhile (some of whom have been sitting on the news patiently) – there will be a White Collar revival!

Tim, Matt, Tiffani, and Jeff took part in a panel at the Variety TV FYC Fest today to celebrate the 15th anniversary of White Collar, and while there, they officially announced the revival (though erroneously called it a “reboot”). Check it out:

More information is available in the article about the panel on Variety‘s website.

So what do you think?!

Those of you who’ve known me for awhile know my feelings about a revival, but I’m trying to be excited – especially at the prospect of seeing Tim getting so much screen time and bringing back Peter Burke! I’ll reserve judgment for now, but I trust Tim when he says it’ll be good. (I trust three of the people in this video to make sure things are handled in a way that does justice to the original without falling back into old habits…)

I’m hoping to have a gallery up and running here soon (our old one was lost to a site/data transfer), but in the meantime, here’s the collage I posted on Instagram featuring photos from the arrivals and the panel!

Tim at Variety TV FYC Fest

Great news! Tim – and other members of the White Collar family – will be appearing at Variety’s TV FYC Fest on Thursday, June 6, at 1 Hotel in West Hollywood.

Tim, along with Matt Bomer, Tiffani Thiessen, and Jeff Eastin, will be taking part in a panel celebrating the 15-year anniversary of White Collar, which premiered in 2009. (Can you believe it’s been fifteen years already?! Makes me feel old.)

Tickets are very expensive ($399), but hopefully they’ll have video of this or some other way to see it!

Check out the link above for more info and/or to buy tickets.

White Collar Returns to Netflix US

Good news for fans in the US – White Collar returns to Netflix today!

The show was originally on the streaming service from 2014 to 2018, but it hasn’t been available on Netflix since – until now! Netflix subscribers in the US will have plenty of time to watch and rewatch, as the show will stick around until October 1, 2025.

Just checked this morning, and here’s what Netflix showed me – I’m loving the screenshot they decided to use here! 🙂

Also, if you’ve read this far, stay tuned for more great news coming very soon! 🤫

Tim and Lisa on For Love and Chocolate Podcast

Tim and Lisa were recently interviewed for the first episode of the For Love and Chocolate Podcast, a show about romantic origin stories hosted by Tommy and Tara Gallop, “Mr. and Mrs. Truffles” from Beverly Hills teuscher – Chocolates of Switzerland. Check it out here:

Just as a heads-up, the first 11 minutes are an intro of sorts, as well as a Q&A advice segment (fair warning: some of the content there may be a bit dated/patriarchal for some), so feel free to skip ahead to the 11-minute mark.

The interview portion itself is sweet and so beautiful, going into how Tim and Lisa met in grad school, became close friends, and fell in love, as well as their Cooperstown engagement story, wedding, and beyond!

Let us know what you thought in the comments below! (I’ve also added this episode to my Tim DeKay Podcast playlist on Spotify, FYI.)

Tim on WordTheatre’s Podcast

Thanks to Pennygirl612 for the heads-up – WordTheatre has posted Tim’s reading of Lore Segal’s “The Arbus Factor” as the latest episode of their Short Story Podcast! You can check it out below or listen wherever you listen to podcasts. It’s also available on Spotify, so I added it to our playlist of Tim’s podcast appearances.

(This is likely the same recording from 2021 that they’d previously had on their Vimeo account before removing it.)

Oppenheimer on DVD, Blu-ray, Digital

Great news – Oppenheimer is now available on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD, and digital! The movie, in which Tim plays Senator Pastore, comes with 3+ hours of bonus content, including the 70-minute featurette, “The Story of Our Time: The Making of Oppenheimer.” The various disc versions also include a digital download code.

Check out this link to find out where to buy Oppenheimer in your preferred format!

A Christmas Pudding Returns

Great news – Tim is once again performing in “A Christmas Pudding” this year!

The Pudding, which is returning after a four-year Covid hiatus, is described in the press release as “a delightful evening of stories, poetry, and song that celebrates the grace, goodness, and occasional perils of the season.”

There’s only one performance this year, on Saturday, December 16 at 7:00 pm at Westwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. You can get tickets at the door or on Eventbrite – $25 for adults and $10 for kids 16 and under.

Proceeds from this year’s Pudding go to FosterAll, “a charity started by Westwood Presbyterian and Dr. Mary Rotzien to support foster children and parents.”

Bid on Zoom Meeting with Tim and Matt

Have you ever wanted to chat with Tim and Matt about White Collar? Here’s your chance!

A Zoom meeting with Tim and Matt is just one of the many items up for bids in an auction benefitting The Union Solidary Coalition. According to TUSC’s website, they’re currently offering “direct financial support to crew members who have lost health insurance due to strike-related shutdowns.” This isn’t for the A-listers but instead benefits members of IATSE, Teamsters, and others who are out of work because of the strikes and who’ve lost their health insurance as a result.

According to the auction listing on eBay, the winner will get a 20-minute Zoom conversation with Tim and Matt where you can chat White Collar with them, and you’re allowed to bring one friend! It’s open to US residents only, and you can take photos but can’t record video of the session. The rest of the details, including the small print, disclaimers, etc., can be found in the auction listing. The auction ends on Friday, September 22 at 7:13pm (time zone isn’t specified).

As of the time of this post, the current bid is up to $1925.00, so it’s probably not even remotely feasible for most (myself included), but we hope the lucky winners have a wonderful time!

There are lots of other amazing auctions benefitting TUSC as well – check them out here! All are legitimate, but make sure to read all of the fine print before bidding! (Tim and Matt both posted about the auction on their respective IG accounts.)
