Tim in Yellowstone spinoff, 1923

Check it out! We finally have some more info about Tim’s character on the Yellowstone spin-off series, 1923.

According to Variety, Tim plays Bob Strafford, “a Montana rancher who’s anticipating an imminent wedding between his daughter and one of the Duttons.”

Tim told us that he’ll be in three episodes, and that he just wrapped filming in early November.

The series stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren and premieres on Paramount+ on December 18. You can check out the trailer here!

Wake – New Audiobook Featuring Tim

Tim is part of the cast for a new audiobook version of the graphic novel, Wake by Dr. Rebecca Hall, adapted for audio by Tyler English-Beckwith. The story follows Dr. Hall, a historian and granddaughter of slaves, as she digs deeper into the history of enslaved women and their powerful role in revolts.

In addition to Tim, the audiobook features a wonderful cast led by DeWanda Wise and Chanté Adams. (I don’t know the name of Tim’s character, but when I hear back from him, I’ll edit to add it.) You can find it on Audible!

Tim in “Oppenheimer”

For those who didn’t see this on Instagram, we got some great news from Tim – he’ll be appearing in Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated upcoming film, Oppenheimer!

Official movie poster for Oppenheimer.

He’ll be portraying Senator John Pastore, and it’s a very small role, but this is still a really big movie with a star-studded cast.

The film will follow the life of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project, and his role as “the father of the atomic bomb.” Cillian Murphy is starring as Oppenheimer, and the cast also includes Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr, Rami Malek, and Matt Damon. It’s set for a July 2023 release, so stay tuned…

8 Years of Team DeKay!

It’s true – today marks 8 years since Aragarna and I officially launched the Team DeKay website!

Team DeKay 8th Anniversary graphic featuring headers from our previous and current sites.

Back then, Tim didn’t have any active fan sites, so we were mainly looking to create a place where fellow fans could go to find out about his latest projects and get photos and videos. Ara already had a fan forum, and I had the Instagram account and a web hosting account. We decided to join forces and make a fan site…and we’re still going strong, 8 years later!

We’ve come a long way since then, and we obviously couldn’t have done it without all of you! I know some of you have been around since the very beginning, while others have just joined very recently. We appreciate all of you so very much and are looking forward to bringing you more fun stuff in the upcoming year and beyond!

If you’re on Instagram, make sure to check out today’s stories on our account for some throwbacks!

Rest in Peace, Willie Garson

Just echoing what I said on Instagram…

Sometimes, there just aren’t enough words. Rest easy, WG. With your wit, brilliance, kindness, and generosity, you have touched the hearts of so many in this world, including countless folks who’ve never even had the pleasure of knowing you personally. Our thoughts are with Nathen and with Willie’s family, both close and extended. Be at peace, friend. Cancer sucks.

Happy Birthday Jamis! (plus podcasts!)

First off, Happy 22nd Birthday, Jamis!! In spite of the pandemic, this guy has had so much going on over the past year. He spent the fall semester doing remote classes for his sophomore year at Yale, he’s been working behind the scenes at the Chris Rose Rotation podcast, he’s been training (baseball) in Florida and Texas, he played for the Westhampton Aviators in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, and oh yeah, he released a great single, “Ghosts,” as Mohw.

Here’s this year’s birthday collage on Instagram – and scroll down to listen to the new single, as well as for info about recent podcast appearances from Tim and Jamis!

And now for the podcasts – Tim has appeared on two podcasts recently (in addition to the Pack Podcast), one with Jamis and one on his own. First, Tim appeared with brothers Paul Francis (the host) and Ted Sullivan on The Best Minutes Podcast back in late June – this was on our Twitter account, but I’m posting the link here for those who aren’t on Twitter. And then more recently, Tim and Jamis were talking baseball with Denny Barrett on the Swing Hard Podcast. You should be able to listen to both of these at the provided links without signing up for any accounts, or if you prefer, just check where you normally listen to podcasts!

Enjoy – and again, Happy Birthday, Jamis! 💙

Tim on The Pack Podcast – Sonia, the Warrior Goddess

Great news – Tim is back for another episode of The Pack Podcast, just in time for Aragarna’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Ara 🎉)! This one is called “Sonia, the Warrior Goddess” and also features Jon Tenney and Julie Brown.

As before, you can listen on The Pack Podcast website – let us know what you thought of it in the comments below!

The Pack started out performing original one-act comedies by Emmy-nominated and Drama Desk Award Winner Eugene Pack live in theaters, but COVID-19 forced them to move their shows to an online podcast format, and they returned with spoken-word radio plays, with the cast participating and recording from their homes. The podcast benefits The Actors Fund – check this link for ways to help.
