It’s true – today marks 8 years since Aragarna and I officially launched the Team DeKay website!
Back then, Tim didn’t have any active fan sites, so we were mainly looking to create a place where fellow fans could go to find out about his latest projects and get photos and videos. Ara already had a fan forum, and I had the Instagram account and a web hosting account. We decided to join forces and make a fan site…and we’re still going strong, 8 years later!
We’ve come a long way since then, and we obviously couldn’t have done it without all of you! I know some of you have been around since the very beginning, while others have just joined very recently. We appreciate all of you so very much and are looking forward to bringing you more fun stuff in the upcoming year and beyond!

Wow! Can you believe it’s been 7 years since we officially launched Team DeKay? It’s hard to wrap my mind around the fact that it’s been so long!
We actually started posting on the site way back in early May 2014, but we waited until June 1 to officially launch so that we had some content on the site, and because June is Tim’s birth month!
The site came about after Aragarna and I (Daclaren) were discussing the fact that Tim had no active fansites at the time, no place for fans to find up-to-date information about his current and future projects. We knew he, and our fellow TDK fans, deserved better and decided to create a site where folks could find info about Tim’s latest projects, as well as photos, videos, and more. Ara already had the Tim DeKay Forum message board, and I had an Instagram account for fans of Tim – we combined the two and expanded to become Team DeKay!
Now, here we are, seven years later! The site has grown to become Tim’s official fan site, we have active accounts on all major social media platforms, we paired with Tim in back 2018 (at his request!) to help him raise money for breast cancer research through the Real Men Wear Pink campaign, we’ve earned the support of the whole wonderful DeKay family, and we’re still continuing with that original mission of bringing you the latest about Tim’s projects, appearances, etc.
And we couldn’t have done any of this without all of you! Thank you so, so much to all of those who’ve joined us over the past 7 years – those who’ve been around since the beginning, and those who are just discovering us. We really, truly appreciate everyone’s support, we love your enthusiasm, and we’re incredibly grateful for those who send in tips and/or photos, post comments, like and share our posts on social media, and so much more.

Five years ago today, two big fans of Tim DeKay launched a small fansite for him. At the time, there were no other active fansites for Tim – the few that had once existed were either deserted or hacked. We knew Tim and his fans deserved better, and we hoped we could fill those shoes.
We had high hopes for the site, but I’m not even sure we could have envisioned all of the wonderful things that have happened over the past five years! There have been new roles for Tim, professional and personal milestones, and even a successful charity fundraiser.
Thanks so much to all of you for sticking with us on this journey, and thanks to Tim, Elisa, Jamis, Danna, and their extended family and friends for their support and encouragement. All of you are awesome!
2018 was a great year for Team DeKay – and for Tim! We got to see new work from Tim with his recurring role on HBO’s Here and Now, as well as a guest appearance on Ballers. Second Chance was released on DVD. Tim once again performed for A Christmas Pudding, as well as reading for LA Theatre Works’ recording of The Little Foxes.
And, of course, there was Tim’s participation in the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign. He came to us to help him raise funds for breast cancer initiatives, and with a raffle, tiered donation prizes, and fan work commissions-for-donations, we managed to help Tim raise just over $2500! Thanks so much to all of those who participated, whether through donating money, donating prizes, or spreading the word through social media! 💗

Four years ago today, Aragarna and I officially launched teamdekay.org! At the time, there was no active fansite for Tim – the ones in existence were abandoned or hacked. We knew Tim deserved better, and we wanted to give his fans a place to find up-to-date information, media, etc.
Four years later, we’re still going strong, with a recently redesigned site and accounts across the major social media networks. And a big part of our success is all of you! Thanks so much to everyone who visits us here and on social media, comments/likes/shares/retweets, and supports us in other ways. You’re all awesome!
And a huge thanks, of course, to Tim and his amazing family for all of their support! They’ve been so wonderful to us, which makes this even more fun, and we’re proud to support them through this site.
Today, June 1st 2017 marks the 3rd anniversary of the Team DeKay website!
