Tim on The Pack Podcast, Take 3

For the second week in a row, we have a new episode of The Pack Podcast that features Tim’s voice work! This one is “Valet” and also features Cedric Yarbrough, Milo Manheim, and Dayle Reyfel.

This one centers on Phil’s (Milo Manheim) crazy first night at a new job with an oblivious boss and a front row seat to the theatrics of a couple in a nearby apartment. No spoilers here, so that’s all I’m going to say. (Bonus: Tim’s character’s name is Peter.) Let us know what you thought of “Valet” in the comments below!

The Pack started out performing original one-act comedies by Emmy-nominated and Drama Desk Award Winner Eugene Pack live in theaters, but COVID-19 forced them to move their shows to an online podcast format, and they returned with spoken-word radio plays, with the cast participating and recording from their homes. The podcast benefits Feeding America and The Actors Fund – check this link for ways to help.

Tim on the Pack Podcast, Take 2

Tim has recorded another episode of The Pack Podcast! This one is entitled “The Shakers” and also features Dana Delany, Paul Greenberg, and Constance Forslund. Check it out at this link! (I haven’t had a chance to listen yet but will add a summary here once I have!)

The Pack Podcast - Renee Taylor, Lainie Kazan, and Tim DeKay

In this episode, Tim is joined by legends Lainie Kazan (Irma) and Renee Taylor (Stella), and he plays a detective (no surprise there, right?) who’s trying to solve the mystery behind the death of Irma’s husband, Felix.

Tim in “A Christmas Pudding”

It’s been pretty quiet around here lately, but Tim posted some great news on Instagram today. “A Christmas Pudding” has returned this year, and Tim will once again be a member of the cast! And with yet another White Collar reunion of sorts, the cast also features Sharif Atkins and his wife, Bethany (who is a White Collar “Harvard Crew” alum herself)!

The show features stories, songs, and more – and you’ll have two chances to catch it this year if you’re in the southern California area. The first show is on Friday, December 15 at 7pm at Westwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, and the second show is on Saturday, December 16 at 7pm at St. Augustine By-the-Sea in Santa Monica, CA. Admission is $25 (or $5 for kids under 16), and the show benefits PATH (People Assisting the Homeless).

Here’s Tim’s Instagram post with the flyer for the show. Hopefully some of you are able to go see Tim, Sharif, Bethany, and the rest of the cast!

Great cause, great cast, great night filled with Christmas stories and songs!

A delicious Christmas Pudding

My friend PL and I were foolish enough to decide to book a flight to LA to go see A Christmas Pudding. It was a small venue, probably no more than 100 seats, and we made sure to arrive early. So early in fact that we ran into Elisa who was checking the microphones, but we got the best seats. Front raw, and what later appeared to be right in front of Tim during the entire show.

The show, a creation of David Birney is made of a variety of texts, from Hamlet to Fruit Cake Recipes, that were read by David Birney, Anne Cioffi, Charles Cioffi, Tim DeKay, Michele Roberge, Ned Schmidtke and Elisa Taylor. The readings were interspersed by Christmas carols sung by a choir.
