Mark Auerbach posted a great – and non-spoilerly – review of “Fever Dreams” for Berkshire On Stage. Check it out here! (Thanks to J for the heads-up!) Also included was one of Mike Marques’ stills of Tim with Doug Savant:

This still photo was also shown in the CT Live interview with Tim and Doug, along with the two below – just screenshots for now!

Now, who remembers that other interview…?

Fever Dreams Interview

Theaterworks Hartford has posted a short interview with the cast and playwright of Fever Dreams! Check it out below (or click the link in the previous sentence) – thanks so much to KG for the heads up! 👍

The play runs from October 3 to November 3, 2024, at Theaterworks Hartford in Hartford, CT. As you can see in the video, it stars Tim, Doug Savant (a longtime friend of Tim’s), and Lana Young. It was written by Jeffrey Lieber and is directed by Rob Ruggiero. Click the link above for more info and tickets.

We’ll be travelling to see it at some point and will have a full report – and hopefully lots of photos! If any of you see it, feel free to let us know what you think (and submit photos and/or a write-up if you want us to post it)!

TW Hartford’s site gives us this description of Fever Dreams: “A steamy, decades-long affair. A remote cabin. An unexpected visitor. This is only the beginning. Full of surprising twists, dark secrets, and one very stubborn, broken cabinet.”

We hope to have more info for you closer to the premiere date – and hopefully even some firsthand accounts! 😉 Best of luck to Tim, Lana, Doug, and all involved!

Tim on WordTheatre’s Podcast

Thanks to Pennygirl612 for the heads-up – WordTheatre has posted Tim’s reading of Lore Segal’s “The Arbus Factor” as the latest episode of their Short Story Podcast! You can check it out below or listen wherever you listen to podcasts. It’s also available on Spotify, so I added it to our playlist of Tim’s podcast appearances.

(This is likely the same recording from 2021 that they’d previously had on their Vimeo account before removing it.)

A Christmas Pudding Returns

Great news – Tim is once again performing in “A Christmas Pudding” this year!

The Pudding, which is returning after a four-year Covid hiatus, is described in the press release as “a delightful evening of stories, poetry, and song that celebrates the grace, goodness, and occasional perils of the season.”

There’s only one performance this year, on Saturday, December 16 at 7:00 pm at Westwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. You can get tickets at the door or on Eventbrite – $25 for adults and $10 for kids 16 and under.

Proceeds from this year’s Pudding go to FosterAll, “a charity started by Westwood Presbyterian and Dr. Mary Rotzien to support foster children and parents.”

FabTV Interview with Tim

FabTV interviewed Tim last week for the “Honor: In Their Words” event at the Hollywood Legion Theater, and they’ve posted the interview on YouTube! Tim talks more about the event itself, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, and about growing up during that time and seeing the effects it had on those who served.

Check it out here!

Honor: In Their Words Event Photos

As promised on Instagram, here are the photos from the “Honor: In Their Words” event Tim did yesterday at the Hollywood Legion Theater for WordTheatre. (Click the link above or the photo below to see the rest!)

Tim at the Honor: In Their Words event on March 18, 2023. Close-up, smiling photo.

The event, which honored military veterans on the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, featured actors reading stories written by veterans. Tim read “Thanksgiving Special” from In Pharoah’s Army: Memories of the Lost War by Tobias Wolff, and he was joined by the likes of Sharon Stone, Bill Pullman, Kathy Baker, Griffin Dunne, and Jason George.

If you’re a paid member of WordTheatre, they should be posting a video of this event soon! In the meantime, check out the great photos in the gallery.

Tim on The Pack Podcast – Sonia, the Warrior Goddess

Great news – Tim is back for another episode of The Pack Podcast, just in time for Aragarna’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Ara 🎉)! This one is called “Sonia, the Warrior Goddess” and also features Jon Tenney and Julie Brown.

As before, you can listen on The Pack Podcast website – let us know what you thought of it in the comments below!

The Pack started out performing original one-act comedies by Emmy-nominated and Drama Desk Award Winner Eugene Pack live in theaters, but COVID-19 forced them to move their shows to an online podcast format, and they returned with spoken-word radio plays, with the cast participating and recording from their homes. The podcast benefits The Actors Fund – check this link for ways to help.
