Gallery Update: 1923 Premieres

Wow – this past weekend was full of all sorts of things! In addition to Saturday being Elisa DeKay’s birthday (and mine), Tim’s new show, 1923, had two premieres – one in Los Angeles on Friday and another in Las Vegas on Saturday! The star-studded cast appeared at both events, and we were treated to quite a few photos, as well as social media posts from the accounts for the show and the network (Paramount Plus).

I’ve uploaded the photos we’ve gotten so far to our gallery – check them out here (LA) and here (Vegas). These are just the pro photos; I’ll be adding social media photos, as well as any additional pro photos we can get, over the next few days, so keep checking back! (Photo credits will also be added soon.)

Tim on The Place to Be: A Seinfeld Podcast

Tim was recently interviewed by Adam and Eric for “The Place to Be: A Seinfeld Podcast.” Check out their linktree for links to various podcast platforms. Or, if you’re listening on Spotify, you can easily find it on our own playlist of Tim’s podcast appearances!

I haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but I’ll edit to add my thoughts when I do. If you’ve listened, let us know what you thought in the comments!

Not Your Typical Holiday Event

Next Sunday Tim will be part of a Holiday themed live streaming event organized by Word Theatre. Not your Typical Holiday Event with live stream on December 12th, 2021 at 12:00 LA, 15:00 NY, 20:00 UK.

The event is described as a literary journey through the holidays and into the new year… A trip through the New Yorker’s archive has us eager to feature some funny, irreverent, deeply moving, all wonderfully written, holiday and New Year’s stories. This great cast of actors will make your hearts sing!

Talents participating to this event include Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones, The Wind that Shakes the Barley), Jason George (Station 19, Sunset Beach), Cassidy Freeman (LongmireThe Righteous Gemstones), Tim DeKay (White Collar, Peaceful Warrior) and Marianne Jean Baptiste (Spy Game, Without a Trace).

For more information on how to get tickets and watch the stream visit the Word Theatre’s website.

Tim Live on Cameo Calls

Here’s some fun news – Tim will be going live on Cameo Calls on Sunday, March 21 at 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT, and you could have a chance to talk to him one-on-one! Here’s how it works:

For $30, you’ll get a 2-minute, one-on-one video chat with Tim himself, as well as a photo with him at the end. (The event benefits PATH – People Assisting the Homeless – in L.A.) Tim said he’ll be on for about 40 minutes, so several people will get a chance to chat with him. Team DeKay member Kelli B. said chances go quickly, so be sure to have your payment method ready before the event starts!

You can find Tim’s Cameo page at this link. I’m not very familiar with Cameo, but I believe you have to sign up for an account (free) and download the app (also free) to participate in the Cameo Calls event.

Good luck – if you get through, let us know how your chat with Tim went!

The Expanse Season 5

Some of you may have noticed that we’ve had a guest appearance for season 5 of The Expanse listed in the “Upcoming Appearances” section of the sidebar for the past several months, but we weren’t allowed to include any specific details. Well, now that the first episodes of season 5 have been released, we can say more!

Tim is appearing as Admiral Sauveterre in episodes 2 and 10 of the latest season of The Expanse. Episode 2 was released today, while episode 10 (the season finale) won’t be posted until February 3, 2021. The Expanse streams on Amazon Prime and will run for six seasons in total.

Here’s a screenshot from episode 2 – I’ll be posting more on our Instagram account!

Looking very sharp, sir!

As always, you can let us know what you thought of the episode in the comments! I’m not familiar with the show or books (although I’ve been told I should watch the show), so I don’t know anything about Tim’s character – outside of the fact that he’s a great lecturer! Looking forward to seeing more for sure.
