Tim Reads “A Day at the Festival,” Plus More Lucky Dey Audiobooks Released

As part of Room to Read‘s Storytime video series, they’ve posted a video of Tim reading A Day at the Festival, a book from Laos written by Syamphay Fengsavanh and illustrated by Nivong Sengsakoun (illustrations are displayed in the video).

If you check their YouTube channel, you’ll find a playlist with other videos of celebrities reading children’s books, including Tim’s Second Chance co-stars Dilshad Vadsaria, Adhir Kalyan, and Vanessa Lengies!

Room to Read is an organization that works to bring literacy and gender equality in education to low-income communities around the world. You can read more about them here. They also have a free online library of 200 children’s books from around the world, including the book Tim read, A Day at the Festival.

Plus, for those looking for something a little more mature, the next two Lucky Dey audiobooks, written by Doug Richardson and read by Tim, have been released! You can find them on Kobo, Playster, Apple Books, and Audible. (Right now, Audible only has one of the new releases, but the other three services have both.)   1. You say “awesome”, my husband says “obsessive”. I like your description best! Lol! Tim has a great voice for narration. I enjoyed the 3 mice story. It’s super cute and made me smile. I also love the gritty Lucky Dey series. Tim does an amazing job with all the different characters!
