What a great episode tonight! We were served with a lot of great Pritchard family moments. We discovered Jimmy’s softer side, trying to make it right with his daughter, and admitting his past fault. Note to forget the poignant flashback with Otto and Mary, and the jawdropping cliffhanger… So what did you think of That Time in the Car ?

Oh what a chilling villain this one was! A lot happened in this episode, with Mary and Otto’s union starting to show cracks, Otto taking a stand, Jimmy once again not listening to Duval… And what a final twist with Alexa plotting something on the side with Connor! What did you think of Palimpsest?

The last couple of episodes of Second Chance set the bar very high, but this week’s episode did not disappoint! As usual, there was a nice mix of humorous and dramatic scenes, as well as lots of quotable lines. We also got to see some great father-son bonding time between Duval and James, and a wonderful sequence involving “older” Jimmy, perfectly portrayed by the amazing Philip Baker Hall.

Wow what an episode Admissions was. Duval certainly went through a rollercoaster of emotions – and Tim delivered a stellar performance. The cat was out of the bag and Jimmy and Duval had a LOT to talk about. Add to this a psycho villain targetting geniuses, and that made for the best episode so far.
