My initial thoughts on the episode:
Pros: Tim was great. I enjoyed seeing a darker side. The man is too talented to be cast one-sided. Let him play more bad guys or non-law enforcement roles. His character was disturbed and frankly the only character with any depth.
Cons: This was my first time watching the show. I didn’t feel a single connection to a main character. No interest or engagement with any of them. This is clearly all about the procedural unless this episode was an aberration and not a true reflection of its dynamics. They did a decent job building up to the end but Angelo’s actual demise felt anti-climatic and rushed.
Anyway it was great to see Tim on screen again! Also hoping for more Pack Podcasts with Tim in the future.🤞
Yes – totally agree with all of the above! And I had to chuckle at your comment about not feeling a single connection to any main character, because that’s EXACTLY (almost word-for-word) what I said to my husband after we watched.
I loved that Tim got to play this darker role and got a good bit of screen time, but this isn’t a show I’d otherwise watch because I felt absolutely zero connection to any of the other characters or the show in general.
And the ending absolutely felt rushed. I think they tried to cram too much into the earlier part of the episode, with all of the additional characters and trying to figure out how they were connected, that they didn’t have time for a decent ending and just had to go with the quick and careless wrap-up.
So yeah, loved Tim’s character, but I’m definitely not a fan of the show.
Gotta admit, Tim’s character was a little too dark for my taste. He was great, but I like him better as a good guy 😉
And I agree that the regulars didn’t hold my attention much…
